Most workshops believe they have a capacity problem.

They think they don’t have the time, the staff, or the space, so wheel repair quickly becomes a low priority in their daily operations.

In reality, workshops can repair wheels, but they can’t handle enough repairs in a day to make it efficient and truly profitable.

How Wheel Repair is Done in a Traditional Workshop

The reality in most workshops is that one technician is responsible for all wheel repairs.

And that in itself isn’t the problem. The real issue is that the technician works on one wheel at a time.

A time-consuming process

First, the wheel needs to be prepared for repair. Then it has to be cut, often using a diamond cut machine. Finally, it needs to be clear coated.

When a customer needs four wheels repaired, this process becomes time-consuming because each step is handled one at a time.

Only one workstation is active at a time, while the others sit idle.

The process limits the output

The technician can typically handle only 5–8 wheels per day.

Each step in the process depends on the previous one being completed first, which creates bottlenecks.

At that level of output, wheel repair doesn’t generate significant profit, and as a result, it becomes a low priority.

If you, say charge €100 per wheel, that amounts to just €500–€800 per day.

The issue isn’t a lack of demand. The real problem is that the process limits the output.

You might think the solution is to hire more technicians.

But in reality, increasing capacity doesn’t have to mean increasing headcount. You simply need to approach the process differently.

You charge the same price per wheel — but you can handle significantly more repairs per day:

  • 15 wheels = €1,500 per day
  • 20 wheels = €2,000 per day

That’s 2-3x more revenue, without adding staff, space, or working hours.

Instead of one step holding back the next, the entire process runs in parallel.

Blasting takes just minutes, diamond cutting runs automatically, and painting is handled in a fully automated system with built-in curing.

While one wheel is being processed, another is already moving to the next stage. There are no bottlenecks, no idle machines, and no wasted time between steps.

You don’t need to hire more staff

And despite the higher output, this doesn’t require more staff.

One operator can manage multiple machines, moving between processes while the system runs continuously. The machines work independently, and the operator keeps everything flowing.

The result is simple: higher efficiency, lower cost per wheel, and consistent quality —
all driven by a workflow where everything happens at the same time.
